Thanksgiving on 30a! Gobble Gobble
Story by Sarah Murphy Robertson
November 2015
We’ve enjoyed the fun of Halloween, adjusted our clocks backwards, and now find ourselves in disbelief: it’s already November? That means it is time to start thinking about the one holiday where food is most certainly the star of the show. Some of us embrace family recipes and whip up our own Thanksgiving meals, but more and more locals and visitors alike choose to patron our amazing restaurants and sample the dishes our talented chef community creates. There is no shortage of options on 30A for Thanksgiving, but this elite group is sure to elevate your meal from homey to heavenly.
The Vue on 30A
November weather on 30A showcases some of the clearest and bluest skies over our emerald coastline. Few restaurants can boast a view like The Vue on 30A and this is sure to serve as the perfect backdrop to your family’s Thanksgiving Day brunch! Between 10 am and 2:30 pm, the Vue will offer a spread fit for a king! Start with a cold bar of oysters and shrimp cocktail, house cured salmon and assorted fruits and salads. Next try the waffle station, eggs benedict and breakfast meats. But be sure not to miss the carving station complete with lamb, prime rib and roast turkey. All these delights, along with expertly crafted side dishes, will leave you and yours both full and thankful.
