SANDESTIN – Tommy Bahama Restaurant, the eatery that brings the magic of the islands to Grand Boulevard, is bringing the magic of Cinco de Mayo to September! This month only, diners can order off the special Tacos & Tequila menu.

Drinks
Dancing In The Dark and Piña Secreta

Get the party started with one (or more) of their four spotlighted cocktails. Sun & Spice mixes Patron Silver, lime, grapefruit, Serrano syrup and soda for a drink that bites back! Tres A’s 19 uses Patron Extra Anejo, Amaro and amaretto, along with Fee Brothers chocolate bitters.

If it’s a fruity drink you’re after, the Piña Secreta stirs up El Tequileño Blanco with Aperol, pineapple, lime and orgeat for a drink that looks like sunshine and tastes like it, too.

Or for a bit of a pick-me-up, Dancing in the Dark brings together El Tequileno Reposado, Liquor 43 and espresso in a surprisingly delicate drink served beautifully in a coupe glass.

From the Starters section, enjoy Blackened Shrimp Chili Rellenos, with Guajillo tomato butter and chipotle aioli. Or share the Shrimp Al Pastor Street Tacos featuring papaya-pineapple salsa and island slaw.

The Lobster Flautas are crispy rolled tacos, artfully served vertically, filled with tender lobster, Campari tomatoes, jalapeño-avocado salsa and Serrano chile. The accompanying creamy sweet corn fondue is so good, members of the Clean Platers Club might dip into any leftover sauce with Tommy Bahama’s fresh-baked bread.

Moving on to the seasonal entrees, the Duroc Tomahawk Pork Chop is a sweet potato tamale with fresh pear, pepitas and salsa macha.

A trio of Crispy Pork Belly Tacos (pictured at top) is just that: three flour tortillas grilled until slightly crisp, stuffed with charred pork belly, sweet plantain relish and citrus-pickled onions. The green guasacaca sauce combines mayo with avocado, jalapeño, cilantro and lime for savory-citrusy kick! This dish is served with your choice of Tommy Bahama’s famous plantains or chips and salsa, and a cup of Coco Loco, featuring toasted coconut and pineapple.

Chilean Sea Bass

Or dig into the Chilean Sea Bass entree, with its bold roasted tomato guajillo butter and poblano rajas flavors, contrasting with the delicate white fish and Israeli couscous.

Like the beautiful September weather, the Tacos & Tequila menu goes away at the close of the month. For more information, to order online or make a reservation, visit www.tommybahama.com.
