Happy Halloween

Friday, Oct 30th – Zombies and mummies and ghosts, oh my! The Night of the Dead Costume Party is here again at Caliza in Alys Beach. This year, Noche de los Muertos takes place starting at 8:00pm on the Friday before Halloween. This adult only party is anticipated as one of the best of the year and will feature professional entertainers, a wild light show, cash bar, and a $1000 cash prize for Best Costume. Reserve a private cabana for your monster mob and enjoy bottle service all night with your official Noche Tervis Tumblers. DJ Lady Muse will keep the party alive until 11:30pm. All guests must be at least 21 years of age and costumes are required. Tickets are available online at www.ochedelosmuertos.com, at the door, and at Fonville Press.
Saturday, Oct 31st – If you’re not the type to sit at home and dole out the candy on Halloween, than this Saturday night grab the kids and head out to The Bay restaurant for their 2nd Annual Zombie Stomp and Coffin Break. It is sure to be a good time for guys, girls, and ghouls alike! From 6:00pm – 8:00pm families can enjoy BBQ on the beach, live music, a kid’s costume contest with tons of games and prizes. Things may get a little scary after 8pm when the adult party takes over so send the kids off to bed and get ready to hoot and howl the night away. Come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win up to $1000 in prizes. The Rips will play on until 10:00pm and drink specials will last all night.
Sunday, Nov 1st – Daylight Savings Time will end this Saturday night (Sunday morning) which means a delightful extra hour of sleep; but if your morning attitude is inherently alarming, you might want to stock up on your favorite java from our local roasters at Amavida Coffee. Their organic Fair Trade coffees will have you “loving life with every cup.” Stop into either their Seaside or Rosemary beach locations to pick up assorted grounds and whole beans from the finest coffee farms in countries around the world like Honduras, Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador. And now, Amavida coffee and the 30A Florida Sunrise roast are available for purchase at local Fresh Market stores in Destin and Panama City Beach, as well as several health food stores in Alabama.
