3 for 30a
Story by Natalie Haddock
Although winter temperatures have started to grab our attention recently, the 30a community isn’t quite ready to pack it in just yet, on the contrary in fact. Restaurants and businesses are just getting “warmed up” for the season ahead; and while we wait for Spring Break in March or the Singer/Songwriter Festival next weekend, there are still lots of fun things to see, do, eat & drink to fight off the frosty air.
This installment of 3 for 30A is intended to note a couple of unique local restaurants guaranteed to get you warmed up for another great year along the beach!
Friday, January 9- Old Florida Fish House is serving up fresh sushi, cold drinks, and a hot band. Kick away the winter chill as you boogie down to the music of Motown and Classic Rock Hits pumping Friday nights ‘till Midnight. Drink specials are available from 4:00-6:00 and 25% off entrees from 5:00-6:00. To find out more go to www.oldfloridafishhouse.com/ or call 850.534.3045
Saturday, January 10 –Want to know a local’s secret? Sometimes the best way to enjoy hot pizza is in the cold air as you sit bundled up at a beachfront picnic table. Pizza By the Sea in Gulf Place and Watercolor locations offer popular pizza selections by the slice, as whole pie, and also some cheesy pasta favorites such as spaghetti and meatballs, all served hot and fresh for beach goers any time of year. http://pizzabythesea.blogspot.com/
