3 for 30a- Stand Your Sand
Happy Summer everyone…and I do mean everyone!!! It seems the influx of tourists have descended on our piece of paradise this week. As we attempt to navigate the crowds and increased traffic, 30A Food and Wine has a few ideas for you to relax this weekend on 30a.
First up, explore your artistic side with the First Friday Art Walk. Galleries all along 30A stay open late – usually until about 8PM. Guests can meet the artists, check out new artwork and enjoy live music and refreshments along the way. There are numerous artists that participate and some do so on a seasonal basis. So feel free to call ahead to any of your favorites and make sure they are open late!

Stand Your Sand, Love Your Lakes and Love Your Parks-
Get out and about on Saturday morning at coastal dune lakes and parks all along 30a. Stand your Sand – Walk from one end of 30a to the other to help highlight customary use of the beaches from the dune Line to the water line. Suggested starting points are Topsail State Park on the west and camp Helen State Park on the east. Stop at Grayton Beach State Park from 10AM- 3PM for Coastal Dune Lake Day. Learn about this unique and fragile part of our habitat that dots the cost along South Walton.
Want to end your weekend with brunch with a Vue? Come join the fine folks at Vue on 30a for brunch from 10AM – 2pm on Sunday. Try the crawfish Benedict or the steak and eggs. Don’t forget the seafood omelet with lobster, crab and shrimp. See you there!
