3 for 30a – Seeing Red in Seaside

3 for 30a – Seeing Red in Seaside

Blog, Home Page Blog

October is being us and we roll into November with one of our most favorite events of the year. The 26th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival kicks off in Seaside this weekend. Can’t make the festival? We have a couple of other options for getting out and about on 30a this weekend.

Friday – November 4th –

THE Mountain Film Festival on Tour makes its annual stop in Watercolor at Marina Park. “Adventure, Life Lessons and Environmental Messages brand this tour as an International quest to encourage change and education through striking imagery and stories of perseverance. WaterColor Resort offers an outdoor setting for these moving films with a starry backdrop to enhance the unfolding clips of thought provoking films.” The festival opens at 6PM and films start at 7PM. No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the gates and pets are not allowed. Food, wine and beer are available in side the festival. There are a few tickets available so act fast.

Saturday – November 5th –

The Grand Tasting for the 26th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival takes place from 1PM to 4PM in the downtown Seaside Square. Tickets are currently sold out for this event so we hope all our readers will be there! Stay tuned to 30a Food & Wine for a recap of the weekend’s festivities.

For a few scenes from last year’s event:

Sunday November 6th –

Head back to Seaside and the Great Southern Cafe for the Celebration of Bubbles from 10AM to 1PM. Tickets are still available and guests can sip sparkling wines including Champagne, Cava and Prosecco, all complemented by delectable brunch items.

When you are finished at the Celebration of Bubbles, head over to the Lyceum Lawn for the Fall Charity Auction and Wine Walkabout. This is the event normally held at the Hilton Sandestin, but it has made the return to Seaside this year. Peruse the silent auction items will sampling wines and make sure to stop by the “Hangover Station.” This is a can’t miss event and tickets are still available.
