The More the Merrier
Story by Sarah Murphy Robertson
March 1st was the much-anticipated reopening of The HUB, If you missed out, don’t worry. All weekend long The HUB will be buzzing. Simplify your afternoon or evening plans with a “one stop shop.” The HUB is family-friendly and boasts so many dining choices, live music experiences and activities that you’ll need to return again and again to experience them all!
Friday March 4th Boukou Groove will bring their unique sound to the stage from 6 – 9 pm. Call up some friends to join you and unwind from your work week with a well-earned beer or margarita and a couple freshly made tacos. TGIF.
Saturday March 5th is poised to be a beautiful day along 30A. Bring the whole family out for dinner and a show! The beauty of The HUB is no one has to compromise on what they are in the mood to eat. Are you, ahem, craving a burger? Crave Roadside Burgers are made with grass-fed beef from White Oak Pastures and every hand-crafted version is grilled to perfect. Do the kids want chicken tenders or pizza? Red’s Chicken Shack makes some of the best fried bird around – in fact, we bet you’ll be sneaking some off your little ones’ plates! Or get several wood-fired pizzas to share – they have both classic and creative varieties. No matter what you pick – the food at The HUB is outta sight. With full bellies, sit back to enjoy Nashville’s own Hugh Mitchell performing as the sun sets.
Sunday March 6th will feature local favorites Geoff McBride and Joey Shaling jamming at The HUB from 6 – 9 pm too. Here’s a great idea: treat the kids to some live music and a special dessert from Mr Freeze! Hard serve ice cream in waffle cones, freshly spun milkshakes or homemade ice cream sandwiches will get everyone smiling. And with so many flavor and topping combinations – it’ll be the best tough decision you make this week!
Seems The HUB is the place to be this weekend. Each visit you can try something new and make fun new memories with family and friends.
